Blenheim, Marlborough

The RANZCO New Zealand Branch 2022 annual scientific meeting will take place at the Marlborough Convention Centre in Blenheim from Friday 22 to Saturday 23 April, with an evening welcome function on Thursday 21 April.

The meeting committee, chaired by Nelson-based ophthalmologist Dr Antony Suter, is already working on the programme theme, with the scientific component likely to include telemedicine, AI, glaucoma, cataract surgery and macular treatments. Keynote speaker, retina specialist Professor Daniel Martin from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Ohio, has confirmed that he will share his ARVO presentations a week ahead of the US research conference.

The committee also promises a regional focus, looking at efficiency, quality and work enjoyment.
